About The Position

The Translator - 1st Shift Line Worker position requires employees to stand directly in front of a moving conveyor aligned side-by-side with other employees in close proximity. The role involves sorting, placing, arranging, pulling designated ingredients, and packing finished products according to safety, quality, and production standards. Employees will be assigned to different duties on the assembly line, which typically change throughout the day, including sorting, assembling, inspecting, and/or packing products. This position requires candidates to be bi-lingual in Spanish and offers full benefits after 30 days.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age to work for Monogram.
• Must be bi-lingual in Spanish.
• Ability to maintain balance while walking, stepping, and standing on slippery wet surfaces.
• Ability to stand in one place and maintain balance on a hard surface for up to 3 1/2 hours.
• Ability to bend over a conveyor and reach down for up to three hours.
• Ability to observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours.
• Ability to work with coordination, dexterity, and speed.
• Ability to regularly roll 30 pounds and lift up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to tolerate moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high volumes of noise.
• Ability to tolerate cold and wet environments in temperatures as low as 43 degrees.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words.
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and report safety hazards immediately.
• Follow work rules, policies, and procedures.
• Uphold food safety requirements, including good hygiene practices.
• Work well with other employees to meet required line speed.
• Place supplemental ingredients when rework is required.
• Estimate substandard weights, counts, shapes/sizes and pull and place in designated containers.
• Pull and pack finished goods into containers.
• Report line breakdowns or quality problems immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including relocation to other production lines or company locations.
