About The Position

You will join our team as a Manufacturing Language Translator Intern for a 4-month experience onsite. You will play a key role in bridging communication gaps by translating existing manufacturing documents and training materials into Somali. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about manufacturing processes while making a meaningful impact on team engagement and safety. Your Impact Translate existing production documents, safety guidelines, and training materials into Somali with accuracy and clarity. Collaborate with production and HR teams to ensure translated materials meet compliance and cultural standards. Support onboarding and training sessions by providing Somali translations for key content. Help improve communication and understanding for Somali-speaking team members, fostering an inclusive work environment. Your Experience Proficiency in Somali and English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Interest in manufacturing operations and workplace safety. Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations. Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams. Previous translation experience or coursework in linguistics or language studies is a plus.
