Manages move-in activities from scheduling level of care (LOC) assessments, move-in date, and orientation to ensure a smooth transition from home to Salemtowne or within the community; Follows up with the residents after move-in. Meets Assisted Living sales goals for sales, calls, and appointments. Collaborates with campus-wide interdisciplinary team. Actively participates in Resident Review to ensure Salemtowne residents reside in appropriate level of care. Assists with transition plans for independent living residents. Manages and tracks resident orientation participation, including, but not limited to, creation of events, sending invitations, reminders, sending evaluations, creating events, and taking RSVPs. Assists with maintaining the policies and procedures for the department, including the update of the Resident Handbook. Oversees communication to the wait list by sending monthly e-newsletters and assisting with any internal communication needed with residents. Supports program growth through participation in marketing events and back-up for sales counselors if walk-ins occur. Coordinates and provides support with internal moves by making referrals to moving /organizing companies, preparing communications, and scheduling. Supports a culture of exceptional customer service by embodying Salemtowne’s mission and values in all interactions with residents, families, and team members. Ensures compliance with HIPAA requirements and other generally accepted privacy standards by maintaining the confidentiality of applicants' and residents' personal health and financial information. Supports the organization's mission and values by becoming familiar with and acting by the policies and procedures as outlined in Salemtowne's Employee Handbook and the policies and procedures of the Marketing Office. Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Compliance in the performance of their duties. Adheres to Salemtowne’s Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program of the organization and is timely in reporting any possible concerns. Follows all local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to their position. Adheres to Salemtowne’s Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
