About The Position
The Universal Prekindergarten Teacher (UPK) / Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher provides high quality instruction within a small, preschool environment where every student is known and valued as an individual. Objectives of this role include planning, preparing, and delivering instructional activities, helping nurture a love of knowledge, ensuring students meet their goals and grow as learners, using outcomes to revise and further develop learning plans, creating a positive educational climate for students to learn in, and modeling positive and appropriate behavior for students.
