In this impactful per-diem role, you'll provide day-to-day support to individuals living in transitional housing, ensuring safe, respectful living conditions while helping residents connect with the resources they need to build greater stability and independence.   • Engages directly with individuals seeking residential housing services, fostering a supportive community atmosphere and treating all humans with kindness, dignity, and respect.
  • Is a good steward of confidentiality and discretion. Collects, completes, processes, and files all applicable intake documents for tenants, maintaining a thorough understanding of all necessary documentation.
  • Assists tenants with reasonable requests and connects them to services and resources as appropriate.
  • Provides consistent oversight of tenants, addressing behavioral and/or safety concerns in alignment with policies.
  • Responds to and manages crisis situations with established protocols, prioritizing tenant safety and well-being.
  • Performs basic housekeeping and additional support functions, including preparing rooms for new tenants, ensuring shared spaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained, and distributing meals to tenants, ensuring timely service and equitable access.
  • Collaborates to ensure services are mission-focused. Continuously looks to seek improvement and implement best practices.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience and/or education in Mental Health or Chemical Dependency is preferred.
  • Will have up-to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
