About The Position

These positions will provide office support to core business areas throughout WeGo public transit such as Administration, Human Resources, Procurement, Customer care, IT, Communications, and Community Engagement. Interns will have an opportunity to participate in various internal and external meetings to gain exposure and understanding of the Davidson County and regional public transportation operation.

• Functional or proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
• Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate

Responsibilities

• Duties may include but are not limited to answering telephone inquiries from the public
• Taking complaints
• Mailing schedules and other materials requested by the public
• Document filing and scanning
• Sorting equipment
• Data entry
• Writing blog post or other social media content and/or general office duties as needed.
