About The Position
The Transit Planner at Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) is responsible for overseeing the agency's service planning functions and supporting the passenger amenities program in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves coordinating the planning and implementation of service changes for various public transportation modes, analyzing transit service performance, and ensuring compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Transit Planner will also engage in public outreach, data collection, and collaboration with internal departments and local jurisdictions to enhance transit services.
