Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in providing security and safety functions.
• Conduct investigations and respond to criminal acts and disputes.
• Apply independent judgment in resolving problems related to safety and security.
• Conduct thorough physical security assessments of transit facilities and properties.
• Report inoperable equipment and security breaches.
• Complete various reports including Daily Field Activity Reports and Security Incident Reports.
• Search transit facilities and vehicles for suspicious devices or individuals.
• Answer customer requests for assistance and conduct active surveillance using camera systems.
