About The Position

The Transit Management Analyst Series position involves providing executive-level support to the Office of the Vice President and Chief Officer of Service Delivery. Analysts will act as representatives and liaisons to facilitate communication among senior staff, division heads, and other stakeholders on political and operational issues. Responsibilities include researching topics, advising on strategic matters, and managing special projects. Analysts will also handle administrative tasks such as maintaining databases, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in a relevant field or a baccalaureate degree with two years of professional experience for Assistant Transit Management Analyst I and II.
  • A master's degree and one year of professional experience or a baccalaureate degree with three years of experience for Associate Transit Management Analyst.
  • Experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, or public administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Office of the Vice President and Chief Officer of Service Delivery.
  • Act as a representative and liaison to facilitate communication among senior staff and stakeholders.
  • Research assigned topics and advise on strategic matters.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of objectives and goals.
  • Propose strategies for resolving interdepartmental issues.
  • Plan, direct, and handle special projects as required.
  • Maintain databases and prepare reports.
  • Extract, process, and analyze data.
  • Set up and prepare meetings and correspondences.
  • Disseminate information and directives on behalf of the VP & CO.
  • Coordinate communication among senior staff and follow up on pending items.
