About The Position

The Transit Management Analyst Series (Facilities Management) position is responsible for providing administrative and analytical support for capital projects impacting Facilities within the NYC Transit Authority. The role involves monitoring and reconciling capital project charges, developing financial dashboards, managing contractual expenses, maintaining accurate records, and supporting work order management.

Requirements

• A master's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field or a baccalaureate degree with two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in related areas for Assistant Transit Management Analyst I and II.
• For Associate Transit Management Analyst: A master's degree and one year of full-time satisfactory professional experience or a baccalaureate degree with three years of full-time satisfactory experience in related areas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile capital project charges by managing job numbers, reviewing transactions, and preparing journal entries to correct misallocation.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and databases to support reporting, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
• Track and manage contractual expenses, ensuring accurate invoice processing aligned with receipt of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and documentation, including purchase orders, change orders, status reports, and related project documents.
• Support work order management by creating, updating, and monitoring work order status.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
