About The Position

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is currently seeking Per Diem Transit Drivers of all experience levels to join our growing team! Under the direction of the CMTS leadership team and supervisory staff, transit / wheelchair vehicle drivers will provide safe and efficient transport of ambulatory and wheelchair customers. They will respond to requests for transport of patients between healthcare facilities and other locations. Why should you join CMTS? Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent.
Current BLS / CPR healthcare provider level certification.
Current motor vehicle operators license.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions using the English language.
Satisfactory CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information).
Satisfactory driving record.
Satisfactory drug panel.
This position requires you to work 16 hours per month, not on a set schedule.
Must be able to lift more than 75 pounds.
