About The Position

Summary of Functions: Drives bus, van, car, or lightweight truck to transport guests, trainees, or company personnel along with product pick-up and delivery by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Resort & Casino Policies and Procedures. Works as a team with other associates to maintain the best service standards available. Comply with hotel safety and Loss Control Procedures. Have knowledge of all hotel emergency procedures. Maintain four star/four diamond service standards. Drives vehicle to and from private or central loading areas to and from Northern Quest Resort and Casino or other destinations according to assigned schedule. Transports guests and or team members to and from the airport or other locations as assigned. Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle, also assist with guest luggage etc. Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchair during trip. Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. Monitor the vehicles’ fuel lubricants and accessories. Keeps records of trips and behaviors of passengers. Fulfill any reasonable work requested by a Manager or Supervisor. Provide exceptional service to customers and employees when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect Northern Quest’s high standard of excellence. Use proper interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and employees. Share information with other departments to facilitate their successful performance. Ensure guest confidentiality standards are followed. Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record. Ensure control/protection of company assets. May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings. This job description does not list all of the duties of this position. You may be instructed by management to perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience in a four star/four diamond hotel preferred.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure situations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department head and employees.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License.
  • Valid State Driver’s License (Must be in possession while operating guest or tribal vehicles).
  • Must be able to be insured by the company insurance carrier.
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License, Class A/B with Passenger Endorsement. (Must be in possession while operating a NQRC/Kalispel Tribal Vehicle).
  • Must be able to drive both an automatic and manual vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Spokane and vicinity roadways.
  • No moving violations or accidents on driving record.
  • Hepatitis A & B vaccination required.
  • Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
