About The Position
Safely transports students, staff and visitors between USF Tampa campus and surrounding locations within a two mile radius of our campus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Possession of a current Florida CDL class B driver's license with passenger endorsement, as well as an active Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of experience driving buses or one year experience with Bull Runner.
- University setting experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the 2-way radio and Mobile Data Terminal (MDT).
- Operates ADA equipment to including tie downs & audio visual announcement system (AVAS).
- Accurately records ridership counts using the MDT.
- Provides route and other necessary information to passengers.
- Completes personal departmental paperwork in compliance with department's standards to include: When to Work, Sign-in/Sign-Out log, Oracle leave record, and WebClock punch in/out.
- Other related responsibilities as assigned.
