The purpose of this position is to provide care and custody of adults in custody (AIC)s, while providing central office oversight and management of a robust program dedicated to assessing, managing, and monitoring the needs, safety risks and concerns of transgender, intersex and non-binary AIC. Position chairs a multi-disciplinary team to address individualized needs of the transgender, intersex, and non-binary AICs. Position works closely with Department of Justice and represents ODOC in legal actions. This position is management services and may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.

  • Provide care and custody of adults in custody (AIC)s.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a related degree.
  • Four years of experience coordinating or administering a program, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling seven years.

  • Resiliency and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with managing a workload in a constantly changing work situation.
