Requirements

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
• Board certified or eligible in clinical pathology, anesthesiology, or hematology.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the NYBC Fellowship program.
• Attends all required meetings, conferences, lectures.
• Completes all activities required during each program rotation.
• Participates in journal club and other scholarly assignments.
• Provides feedback to management regarding knowledge/skills acquired and the overall program experience.
• Meets the core learning objectives of the fellowship program.
• Provides first-call medical coverage, as assigned, under the supervision of the senior medical staff.
• Provides medical support as needed for all NYBC blood services operations and other clinical services.
