Who We Are: MassDevelopment, the state’s development finance agency and land bank, delivers financing solutions, real estate expertise, and other assistance to strengthen and grow the Massachusetts economy. We partner with businesses, nonprofits, developers, banks, and municipalities, providing resources to help create jobs, build housing, and foster vibrant communities across the state. We foster a work environment that values diverse perspectives, encourages innovation, and celebrates our shared commitment to building a stronger Massachusetts. MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) is the Commonwealth’s flagship place-based economic development program dedicated to strengthening Gateway City commercial districts. Since its launch in 2015, TDI has evolved into a statewide accelerator model that concentrates local leadership, aligns partners, and deploys targeted investment to unlock lasting economic momentum. This role is ideal for a mid-career professional who thrives in complex urban environments, exercises sound judgment, and builds trust across diverse stakeholders.
