About The Position

Northwest Respiratory Services is hiring a Transfill Operator. This position ensures that all cylinders are filled with oxygen and are in accordance with the Federal Drug Administration (FDS) and Compressed Gas Associations (CGA).

Requirements

• High school diploma, or general education degree, or one to three months related experience.
• Ability to speak and communicate well.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions
• Ability to work independently with little supervisor and process orders in a timely, accurate manner
• Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all unites of measure.
• Ability to document accurately and neatly
• Actively promotes and personally observes all safety and security procedures, and uses all equipment and materials properly

Responsibilities

• Fill, test, and maintain all gas cylinders and/or liquid oxygen bulk tanks using the guidelines of the FDA, CGA, and CGMP
• Assist in tracking all cylinder lot numbers for the purpose of recall issues
• Maintain all transfill equipment following the manufacturers procedures in their technical manuals
• Clean and maintain transfill areas in accordance with NRS's current manufacturing practices
• Assist in reconciling and tracking of cylinder labels used
• Maintain a working knowledge of the NRS Policy and Procedure Manual
