About The Position

This position is responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. The role involves transporting the deceased from various locations to the mortuary or funeral home, maintaining the transport vehicle, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; bilingual is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport the deceased from hospital, nursing home, residence, prep rooms or embalming facilities to the mortuary or funeral home.
• Maintain the transport vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and adequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Perform duties with strict adherence to Edification Policies/Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
