About The Position

Operate transfer tables within the department safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Complete Company forklift training and maintain license.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• A good command of the English language is required, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Safe and efficient forklift operation is required.
• Must be able to physically perform essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. and frequently up to 50 lbs using safe lifting technique and with company approval.

Responsibilities

• Consistently use correct hang patterns and hook combinations per different product.
• Load and unload product off of a moving line safely and in time allowed.
• General understanding of chemical drainage when hanging small parts.
• Applicant must understand the various E-coat programs and when used.
• Applicant must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain neat and organized work area to include hook racks.
• Maintain quality, safety and efficiency.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Complete maintenance checklist on material handling equipment daily.
• Comply with all company policies and practices as specified.
• Perform other duties within the department or plant as directed by supervision.
