Ryan is hiring and expanding our Transfer Pricing tax practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing practice and make an immediate impact. This role offers significant room for career development and advancement. You can reside anywhere in the US for this opportunity. We are considering candidates currently at the Director, Senior Manager and Manager levels or those ready for a promotion.

  • Assist partners in overall project scoping and budgeting, client engagement, and client management.
  • Responsible for project execution and client relationship management.
  • Draft and/or review final project deliverables, drawing on junior staff to assist with preparation and delivery.
  • Assist partners in practice development, development of marketing materials, and attendance and participation in industry conferences.
  • Train junior staff.
  • Provide transfer pricing consulting services to corporate clients.
  • Develop, plan, and execute transfer pricing projects.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
  • Travel to client locations globally for planning meetings, data collection, and other travel as required.
  • Assist in new client development and introduce new services to existing clients.
  • Oversee tax planning projects for transfer pricing engagements for multinational clients.
  • Write technical documents to support developed planning or in response to client requests.
  • Lead global teams on transfer pricing planning projects for clients in diverse industries.
  • Prepare memoranda and relevant reports for senior management's review.
  • Draft proposals, engagement letters, and presentations of ideas and solutions.
  • Oversee file and research documentation protocol, data collection and organization, and final review of results.
  • Bachelor's degree with six to eight years' experience in a tax consulting firm or corporate tax environment required.
  • PhD in Economics is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. transfer pricing rules.
  • Broad knowledge of international tax and tax accounting and compliance.
  • Proven ability to direct and develop staff.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, business development, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
  • Excellent economic database search skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
