About The Position

Road & Rail Services is hiring a Transfer Operator for our Tampa location. Since 1987, our mission has been to provide safe, reliable, and efficient rail-related services while protecting the environment and constantly improving. We live by our values of safety, accountability, teamwork, and dependability - and we're looking for someone who wants to bring those same values to work every day. This is demanding, physical outdoor labor in Florida's heat and weather. The right candidate is steady, dependable, and ready to learn a new skill - not someone chasing the "next best thing." If you have experience in outdoor construction, warehouse work, heavy equipment, or industrial labor and you're looking for stability, benefits, and a career path with upward mobility, this could be your opportunity. This crew is a tight-knit group of hardworking people who support one another and take pride in doing things right. We're not looking for the person with the fanciest resume - we're looking for someone who wants to show up every day, give their best effort, and grow with us long term. As a Transfer Operator, your workday will be spent outdoors transferring bulk materials between railcars and tank trucks. You'll use pumps, hoses, and valves to move product safely, sometimes wearing full protective equipment. You'll climb railcars, work at heights, and handle heavy equipment - all while following strict safety procedures that keep you, your team, and the environment safe. Every transfer you complete is part of keeping America's supply chain moving.
