TRANSFER DRIVER - 2nd SHIFT
About The Position
S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Transfer Driver to the team. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. If you have solid driving/delivery experience, we'd like to chat! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering tires to our Acworth, GA warehouse - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks Pulling and loading tires Use of a handheld device to write up inventory Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed, when necessary We Offer: Compensation starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime Schedule: Monday through Friday, with 4pm start time Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching Paid Vacation and Holidays An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
- Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
- Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
- Valid driver's license - in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Forklift license is a plus
