What You’ll Do: Lift and maneuver freight, including lifting 75-100lbs pounds as needed. Safely transport our products to various locations while adhering to all traffic and DOT laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure Equipment safety. Communicate effectively with dispatches and customers to ensure timely deliveries. Work with updated equipment, including trailers equipped with power pallet jacks and lift gates. Handle mostly palletized freight along with Load proofing all deliveries. This position follows a consistent weekly transfer route and requires punctual arrivals at various distribution centers. Schedule & Route Overview: Monday: Transfer to Brookhaven, NY (Long Island). Arrival required by 7:45 AM. Tuesday: Transfer to Richmond, VA. Arrival required by 7:45 AM. Wednesday PM/Thursday AM: Transfer to Danbury, CT. Arrival required by 2:45 AM. Friday: Reserved for vendor pickups, customer deliveries, or operational needs. Driver must be comfortable navigating congested metropolitan areas including New York City/Long Island, Washington DC, and Richmond, VA. Approximately 10% of shipments may involve multi-stop, touch-freight customer deliveries across rural, suburban, or urban areas. The starting pay is $33-35/hr. and may be adjusted in the future. Requirements

  • Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and excellent communication skills.
  • Hazmat Endorsement needed (can receive after hired)
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Proven ability to operate safely and efficiently in congested urban environments
  • Comfortable with early morning arrivals and occasional overnight or split-shift schedules
  • Capable of navigating multi-state routes with varying terrain and traffic patterns
  • Willingness to perform occasional touch-freight deliveries (~10% of time)
  • Strong time-management skills with commitment to on-time arrivals at scheduled transfer points
  • Ability to use routing software, GPS, and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to load/unload light freight as needed and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections
  • Familiarity with DOT hours of service, vehicle height/clearance planning, and defensive driving best practices
