The Transfer Credit Specialist is responsible for the administrative duties and functions of the Registrar's Office and ensures compliance in the management of educational records according to regulatory, accreditation and institutional guidelines. This position requires adherence to the University's service level agreements and involves acting as a liaison for other administrative offices on student schedule and academic policy questions. The Specialist must also adhere to FERPA and other related regulatory requirements while providing excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty, and third parties. The role includes maintaining accurate transfer equivalencies in the Transfer Evaluation System (TES) and applying approved credits to the student record in the CampusNexus system. Staying informed on curriculum changes and updating transfer credit evaluation forms accordingly is also essential. Other administrative tasks may be assigned, including assisting with other Specialist functions as needed.
