About The Position

The Transfer Center RN at Seattle Children's Hospital plays a crucial role in providing safe, family-centered patient care within the pediatric healthcare setting. Requirements

• Current Washington State RN License or equivalent state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within specified timeframes for certain departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Prior experience in a pediatric healthcare setting or specific nursing area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care in accordance with Seattle Children's policies and procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care collaboratively with patients and their families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other support staff as defined by state regulations.
• Incorporate initiatives to support strategic goals into daily work, including Continuous Performance Improvement and Patient Safety.
• Maintain current certifications and licenses as required for the position.
