Sensible Care is growing and now hiring a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)/Spravato Technician to coordinate patient services for TMS and Spravato providers in our Laguna Hills, California clinic! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, however candidates with a minimum of one year of direct Mental Health experience will be strongly considered.
  • 1+ year of experience in the mental health industry.
  • Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression (preferred).
  • Successful completion of TMS Certification (preferred).
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, team player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Spravato treatment under the supervision of mental healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor, educate and build relationships with Sensible Care patients during those treatments.
  • Administer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Spravato treatments and support patients during treatments.
  • Monitor for adverse effects and notify the Psychiatrist or Provider immediately.
  • Be prepared to assist in the management of adverse effects including seizures.
  • Complete all pre/post required clinical and administrative documentation.
  • Assist Psychiatrist/Provider in obtaining and reviewing medical records to aid in appropriate patient selection and preparation.
  • Provide psychoeducation and educate patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Operate and control settings of electrophysiologic recording devices, including, measure, calculate, and log recorded electrophysiologic information.
  • Position and administer TMS coil and validated rating scales to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
