About The Position

As a member of Expeditors, you will manage the on-time and accurate pick up, processing, and transfer of Transcon shipments with a sense of urgency. Your role will involve offering best-in-class customer service to both Expeditors customers and our network of destination branches. You will be part of a global logistics company that values professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, fostering an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven verbal and written skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple job functions with minimal supervision
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customer service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers' procedures and maintain updated internal SOPs
