Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience of project management knowledge (planning, tracking, milestones).
  • Strong administrative and coordination and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service experience managing various suppliers.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and dashboard tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI dashboards).
  • Good written and verbal communication for status reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify bottlenecks and propose next steps.
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Requires at least 20% travel supporting multiple John Crane US suppliers in Pennsylvania, New York and St. Louis.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring supplier recovery milestones are met and deviations are escalated to the Supplier Performance managers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor supplier performance dashboards to identify poor-performing suppliers and trends.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Performance Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure planned actions and timelines are tracked and met.
  • Prepare and distribute progress report on supplier performance and recovery actions.
  • Coordinate and track the implementation of improvement actions at supplier sites, under the guidance of the Supply Performance Manager.
  • Complete and present overview data for the Supply Performance Manager's team; escalate bottlenecks that could impact the recovery plan.
  • Support the application of the recovery plan by organizing tasks, follow-ups and milestone checks.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier performance, action owner and due dates.
