About The Position

About this role: The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. We focus on our clients' overall financial needs, with consideration and respect for their total relationship with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is seeking a Transactional Conflicts Consultant who will partner closely with Investment Banking, Legal, and Risk stakeholders to identify, assess, and address potential conflicts across global entities. Success in this role requires sound independent judgment, a strong sense of discretion, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders while operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will: Participate in initiatives and identify opportunities for progress within transactions and processing Evaluate tasks or processes Exercise independent judgment to guide deliverables with potential risk Present recommendations for resolving complex issues Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the required processes of transactions and processing Collaborate and consult with stakeholders, including customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Must have the ability to chart and analyze the relationship among multiple global entities and identify possible conflict issues
  • Must have the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with senior bankers and the Firm's senior management in a clear, precise and efficient manner and offer sound independent judgment
  • Must have the confidence/fortitude to probe across the spectrum of stakeholders to ensure end analysis is complete
  • Ability to operate in fast paced, dynamic work environment with high sense of urgency in getting results and resolving open issues.
  • Strong sense of discretion in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in close coordination with others as part of a small team
  • This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents. Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
