About The Position

This is a recently created team to support both the existing treaty operation and the newly created MGA function that was recently announced by PartnerRe. This specific role is to monitor all financial transactions of contracts, ensuring that clients are remitting appropriately to PartnerRe. The position reports to the Chief Underwriting Officer, P&C Americas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in auditing Reinsurance transactions.
  • Advanced MS-Excel knowledge.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills.
  • Action-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work at all levels of an organization and experience presenting to upper management.
  • Process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing transactions in relation to specific agreed contracts.
  • Ensuring risks are ceded to PartnerRe according to contract wording.
  • Verifying PartnerRe has been paid for all policies, including any necessary premium from adjustable policies.
  • Coordinating with claims department to certify our claims billings are warranted and accurate.
  • Developing a plan for auditing client base and reporting periodically to senior management on findings.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Collaborating with peers on complex or contentious reinsurance developments.
