About The Position

Are you looking to transition from Audit to Transaction Services (TS) that offers great work-life balance or someone looking to take your career to the next level within TS? Crowe is seeking a Senior Associate to join our dynamic Transaction Services team in our Strategy & Transaction Advisory practice. This position would require the candidate to perform buy-side and sell-side advisory projects for TS clients who invest in and or operate within various industries. The candidate will have contact with the client and target company personnel at all levels.

Requirements

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in Assurance (Audit) or Transaction Services consulting in a CPA firm or related environment.
  • Previous experience with manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, construction, restaurant and retail, business services, or food and commodities clients required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field is required.
  • CPA eligible or an active CPA license preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% annually
  • Client service experience required

Responsibilities

  • Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for clients and target companies across multiple industries including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, construction, restaurant and retail, business services, and food and commodities
  • Conduct engagements in compliance with applicable professional, regulatory, and firm requirements
  • Deliver high-quality services by applying the results of data analysis
  • Possess knowledge of financial and emerging management concepts along with accounting and operational systems
  • Provide value-added strategies or services to assist clients in achieving business objectives
  • Prepare various analyses, review financial records, and conduct interviews with clients and target management to analyze quality of earnings (EBITDA), net working capital, and other financial results
  • Assist in identifying issues and providing strategies to aid clients with strategic decisions, purchase price adjustments, deal restructuring, or deal termination
