About The Position

The position involves supporting a Mortgage Banker in processing all potential loans, focusing primarily on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac products, particularly in the Seniors Housing sector. The role requires a solid understanding and experience in senior housing and healthcare, as well as conventional loan products. The Transaction Manager will assist in all aspects of loan executions, partner with the Mortgage Banker to pitch various execution options, and manage the process from start to finish for both agency and non-agency executions. The role also includes working with support staff and maintaining client/pipeline data in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent education and related training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to organize, direct and motivate others.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to simultaneously handle a variety of assignments.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree in Finance or Real Estate.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, CoStar, Trepp and Argus.
  • Deep understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending programs.
  • Seven years of relevant experience within the commercial real estate finance industry, including a rotation in Senior Housing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of loan executions both agency and non-agency.
  • Help Mortgage Banker including Seniors Housing with the best execution outcomes for various products.
  • Partner with Mortgage Banker to pitch various execution options.
  • Act as product specialist across an array of various products, especially Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
  • For Agency execution: Partner with Agency Underwriters to underwrite and size the transaction.
  • Manage the process from start to finish for Agency execution.
  • For Non-Agency execution: Work closely with Coverage Banker, Head of Production and FCS Team to determine the best source of capital.
  • Manage the process from start to finish for Non-Agency execution once a capital provider is chosen.
  • Work with support staff, underwriting and credit in the preparation of the preliminary and final loan submissions.
  • Maintain client/pipeline data in Salesforce.
