About The Position

As a CBRE Transaction Management Director, you will be responsible for managing complex real estate transactions for a client's defined portfolio of commercial properties. Manages a team of professionals responsible for transaction management activities. This job is part of the Brokerage job family. Brokers are responsible for buying, selling, and leasing of industrial, office, retail, and other commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Real Estate salesperson's license.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
  • Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
  • Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, recommend, and execute complex transaction strategies for acquiring and disposing of properties.
  • Develop real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic goals.
  • Gather resources to execute elaborate lease renewals, new site acquisitions, and disposition of surplus space through subleasing.
  • Approve leases, amendments, and track expirations.
  • Secure new high-value properties to meet client's requirements and timelines.
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure integration between the service lines.
  • Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge technologies within own function.
  • Use experience and knowledge of all job areas within a function to coach and guide others.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Negotiate with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance.
  • Drive the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.
  • Significantly impact the design of policies and procedures.
  • Provide moderate impact on the business direction through the development of innovative services or products.
