About The Position

Are you ready to take your technical skills to new heights? Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is looking for a passionate and driven Tram System Maintenance Technician to become an integral part of the team overseeing our cutting-edge automated people mover at Miami Airport. Dive into a role where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing a wide range of electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems! The Tram System Maintenance Technician ensures our tram systems run smoothly by conducting thorough inspections and performing essential maintenance. Showcase your technical expertise by championing minor individual repairs in the shop, and collaborate with junior technicians on larger-scale projects. In addition to maintenance & repairs, this position will play a key role in monitoring the tram system as it operates, and swiftly address any alarm indicators to ensure seamless operation. This is a full-time hourly position, currently hiring for the overnight shift (10:00pm-6:00am) at $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. As part of the compensation for this role, Leitner-Poma also offers a 15% shift differential for your overnight dedication. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Previous technical experience in one or all of the following areas (PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems).
  • Previous experience diagnosing & repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to read & comprehend complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Ability to work in adverse environmental conditions such as extreme heat, wind, or confined spaces.
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen of the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of transit system maintenance & repair.
