Your Role at Baxter: The Training Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating shipping, patient training, and compliant documentation for Respiratory Health Devices used in the home setting. The Training Support Specialist is the primary in-office point of contact for all Clinical Patient Trainers. The Auditing aspect of this role requires review of reports related to tasks that support the business operations of Respiratory Health.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Exhibits flexibility and ability to prioritize under deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DME or health care industries preferred
  • Experience with TIMS, JDE and Imaging Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assignment of trainings in a timely manner with consideration for patient specific requirements including hospital discharge and priority order needs.
  • Communicate with Clinical Patient Trainers to ensure all trainings and related documentation are complete and driven within timelines determined at the time of shipment.
  • Ensure contractual agreements are met with all trainers that are applied
  • Review training paperwork for completeness and accuracy and data enter key elements from training paperwork into TIMS
  • Complete all document imaging and database requirements for each in-home patient training.
  • Apply database to monitor trainers, trainings, and training paperwork
  • Work in conjunction with other teams to assure necessary actions are taken regarding patient needs identified at training, complaints, inventory changes, and other collaboration as identified by leadership.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
