About The Position

The Training Supervisor oversees all station training activities, ensuring new hires are properly trained and records are accurately maintained in compliance with airline and regulatory standards. The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all training activities at the station, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and recurrent training. This role ensures all new hires are properly trained and that training records are accurately maintained and compliant with airline standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
  • Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of safety and compliance requirements (OSHA, DOT, FAA)
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom and on-the-job training for all new hires
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training files, records, and certifications
  • Ensure timely completion of all recurrent and refresher training for existing employees
  • Keep in communication with airlines in reference to new training standards and compliance with current specifications
  • Develop training schedules and coordinate logistics for training sessions
  • Generate and submit training reports as requested by Station Management
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
  • Support a culture of compliance, safety, and professional development
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
