About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

  • Specialized experience must include recommending course requirements, reviewing course content, and providing instruction.
  • Education can be substituted for experience at this grade level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing test items for course materials.
  • Familiarity with distance learning technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, implement, and review resident training and distance learning material.
  • Make recommendations for changes to courses and modules.
  • Consult with managers and supervisors to identify training requirements.
  • Develop and adapt instructional material.
  • Maintain liaison with training program instructors and specialists from other agencies.
  • Serve as registrar of courses and coordinate meetings/briefings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education/training principles applied to training problems.
