About The Position
This vacancy is for a GS-1712-11, Training Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, LDC PERFORMANCE SUPPORT DEPARTMENT. Duty location will be determined upon selection. The position is responsible for providing training and expertise in military professional development, leadership, management, health and physical readiness, and professional maritime studies. Typical work assignments include teaching, training, research, making presentations, lecturing, testing, and other instructional methods. The role also involves applying tools and techniques to develop functional models and simulations for training, helping others learn, identifying training needs, and advising on technical issues.
