We are hiring a Training Specialist (must be located in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX) who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to develop talent across multiple car wash locations within a defined district. This individual ensures team members and managers are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors necessary to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain operational excellence, and meet company goals. The Training Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented professional who is passionate about team member development and ready to lead and inspire a team to achieve success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in training or operational management, preferably within the car wash, retail, or service industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in developing training materials and delivering training in various formats.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate performance data and identify trends/opportunities.
  • Familiarity with car wash equipment, chemicals, and standard practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site management experience is a plus.
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training guides, tailored to car wash operations.
  • Ensure training programs align with company standards, operational goals, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Facilitate leadership development for store-level management to prepare them for career growth opportunities.
  • Observe team members in the field to provide feedback, coaching, and hands-on support to the store managers that will enhance performance and customer experience.
  • Identify skill gaps and work with Operations leadership to implement targeted training solutions to address them.
  • Collaborate with District Managers (DMs) and the SSC team to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently understood and supported across locations, reinforcing operational consistency without assuming accountability for performance.
  • Provide training on equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and compliance standards to empower teams with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Support the company’s safety initiatives by delivering related training, ensuring required filings are completed, and accurately reporting safety-related information to maintain compliance and promote a safe work environment.
  • Track training completion rates and effectiveness using metrics such as productivity improvements, net promoter scores, and team member retention rates.
  • Report training outcomes and areas of improvement to Operations and Executive leadership.
  • Work closely with the Operations, HR, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment in training initiatives.
  • Support the rollout of new technologies, processes, and promotions with appropriate training sessions.
  • Regularly travel to multiple locations within the district to deliver training and assess operational consistency.
