Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a (Hybrid) Training Specialist that will conduct in person training as needed out of our DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) offices. The Training Specialist role empowers our real estate agents and employees by providing dynamic training and support on essential company tools and programs. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and trainer adept at creating and delivering engaging content that drives user adoption and proficiency. By championing our sales solutions and fostering cross-departmental collaboration, this individual will maximize productivity and achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace programs, and content development tools such as Loom or equivalent applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Ability to effectively use internal and external resources to achieve objectives.
  • Commitment to professionalism and ethical behavior; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Instructional Design certification or Training certification is preferred.
  • Real estate license or experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver impactful training programs (self-paced and instructor-led) for real estate agents and employees.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training materials.
  • Curate and update content within the LMS.
  • Deliver agent-centric workshops to enhance performance and maximize tool utilization.
  • Process all agent and employee transitions into sales solutions programs and tools, including onboarding, termination, and changes.
  • Provide support and training for assigned onboardings.
  • Continuously learn, train, and integrate AI to improve processes and decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve training effectiveness.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of sales solutions programs and tools.
  • Communicate program upgrades and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Employ change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new programs and tools.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for agents and employees.
  • Build relationships with vendors to optimize agent productivity.
  • Partner with internal departments for training on tool upgrades and new implementations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in training and development.
