The Training Specialist, Mid the design, development, and delivery of training solutions to ensure successful user adoption of systems and applications. This mid-level role collaborates with customers and senior training staff to produce high quality multimedia training materials and deliver effective training experiences.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree, or MA or MS degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a video editor or in a similar role.
• 5+ years of experience developing video or multimedia training materials.
• 1+ year of experience coordinating or task leading content development efforts, including planning, scheduling, status reporting, and risk or issue tracking.
• 5+ years of experience in a field directly related to the position.
• Background check required.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Proficiency with video editing and multimedia production tools.
• Ability to develop clear, engaging training materials for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training deliverables simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting training efforts for software development or IT programs.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Experience developing training for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform the majority of functional duties while collaborating with customers and the Senior Training Specialist on training design, strategies, and objectives.
• Make recommendations to enhance training materials and delivery methods to ensure maximum user adoption.
• Develop and maintain software based learning modules for training purposes.
• Design and produce training materials in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia.
• Co facilitate and or deliver training sessions and workshops as required.
• Perform quality reviews of training deliverables and mentor Junior Training Specialists on tools, templates, and best practices.
• Work with the development lead to maintain configuration management of training projects and related files and records.
• Track and communicate training content progress, dependencies, risks, and issues to support on time delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
