The Training Specialist designs and delivers effective employee training programs, identifies training needs, monitors effectiveness, and contributes to program design and enhancement.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of quality improvement procedures and techniques and tool usage
  • Basic understanding of insurance policies and claim handling procedures
  • Working knowledge with Canva
  • 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience creating training resources and programs
  • Experience delivering effective training programs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update curriculums, training manuals, virtual and in-person classroom exercises, competency assessments, and more related to supporting colleague’s job functions and responsibilities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and assist in the delivery of high-impact training solutions.
  • Lead training classes independently or as a co-trainer/facilitator.
  • Assess participation and progress continuously during training, providing feedback to both colleague and management.
  • Work alongside Quality Improvement team to assist with auditing and determine what additional training may be needed to improve performance.
  • Collect evaluations throughout training to compile results and provide status reports on training effectiveness.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects as identified by leadership.
  • Identify training needs and map out learning and development plans for individuals and teams.
