About The Position
The Training Specialist 2 Mental Hygiene assists the Associate Director of Training with coordination and implementation of training programs. The TS2-MH will plan, organize, and oversee a comprehensive education and training program for all employees. The incumbent will work with local division leadership to coordinate training efforts to ensure employees remain in compliance with regulatory requirements. These required trainings relate to the health and safety of individuals supported and the core mission of the agency; for example, PROMOTE, PRAISE, GOER trainings, CPR/AED and First Aid and New Employee Orientation training. The incumbent will provide and oversee mandatory training for Long Island staff.
