About The Position

The Proofpoint Technical Training organization educates customers, partners, and Proofpoint prospects globally on Proofpoint products, solutions, and best practices. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Training Operations Intern to assist with managing the day-to-day operations and administration of our training delivery business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become proficient in learning platform administration, including course building and troubleshooting, progress reporting, and coordination of a complex delivery of virtual and classroom trainings. You’ll work closely with the LMS Administrator and Training Operations manager, handling the day-to-day tasks that are crucial to our training program’s success This person will be adept at working in enterprise applications like our Learning Management System, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to commit to working from June through November 2026 (full-time during summer, part-time during fall)

  • Demonstrated proficiency working in enterprise level applications
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills, demonstrated high level of accuracy and completion
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Able to commit to working from June through November 2026 (full-time during summer, part-time during fall)

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Web skills, ability to make updates to web pages and wikis
  • Bonus – experience or interest in building AI agents to automate tasks

Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in our Adobe Learning Management System, and perform regular administration tasks in the LMS
  • Compose and deliver outbound email notifications to customers regarding courses, program updates, promotions, and other communications.
  • Build classes in the LMS, assign students and make any schedule adjustments as needed
  • Troubleshoot learner login, course playback, and general account issues
  • Oversee preparation of instructor led classes, including sending class rosters, monitoring enrollment requests, and coordinating lab preparations.
  • Prepare and deliver training completion reports for both internal and external customers
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in both customer experience and process efficiency.
