About The Position
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for professional training administrative work of average difficulty and supervisory work of routine difficulty. The employee develops and delivers training, manages training activities for an operating department of state government, and typically supervises a small staff of professional training employees. This role differs from Training Specialist 2 in scope and complexity, and from Training Officer 2 in that the latter manages training activities for a larger department or facility with a highly developed training program.
