About The Position

We are seeking a driven and experienced Training Manager to lead and elevate companywide training initiatives that directly impact technician performance, leadership development, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a hands-on training professional who has personally developed training materials, executed training delivery, and tracked measurable outcomes. You will design and deliver impactful learning experiences while ensuring programs produce real, trackable improvements in performance, engagement, and career progression.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing training materials, executing training delivery, and tracking measurable outcomes
  • 2+ years experience designing or managing training programs or curriculum
  • Background in technical or operational training environments preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Training & Development, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and adult learning principles
  • Business operations experience (5–7 years preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and process improvement ability
  • Leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • Experience collaborating across departments and locations

Nice To Haves

  • CPTD or related training certification (or willingness to pursue)
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in field operations

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve technical and operational training programs aligned with company standards and industry best practices
  • Create curriculum, materials, and delivery methods focused on hands-on skill development and knowledge retention
  • Personally execute training sessions in classroom, field, and virtual environments
  • Track training effectiveness using performance metrics, assessments, and feedback to ensure measurable results
  • Lead Apprentice and Technician-in-Training programs to support onboarding, mentorship, and advancement
  • Partner with operational leadership to identify skill gaps and tailor training solutions
  • Support sales and performance improvement initiatives through targeted training
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and compliance records
  • Provide coaching to technicians and leaders to foster a culture of continuous learning
  • Collaborate with franchisor partners to implement required training standards
  • Coordinate vendor and third-party training sessions
  • Develop new learning paths and programs to support employee growth
