The Training Manager - ITP is responsible for effectively delivering new hire and annual recurrent training for all station personnel, including fueling OJT and Driver Training. The role requires projecting a professional image and ensuring that training delivery aligns with health, safety, security standards, and government regulations. The manager will support employees and supervisors in compliance with health and safety legislation, report breaches of statutory requirements, participate in safety audits, and complete daily reports. The position also involves managing station training compliance and OJT programs for each business line.

  • Effectively deliver new hire and annual recurrent training for all station personnel.
  • Deliver fueling OJT and Driver Training.
  • Project a professional image/conduct at all times.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with health, safety, security standards, and government regulations.
  • Support employees and supervisors in compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Report breaches of statutory requirements or company best practices to management.
  • Participate in daily safety audits and provide corrective action assistance.
  • Complete daily shift reports and other reports as requested.
  • Attend and participate in monthly departmental meetings.
  • Manage all station training compliance.
  • Manage station OJT Program for each business line.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, and drug test.
  • Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a positive, can-do, upbeat personality.
  • Must enjoy dealing with people daily.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Must excel in time management skills and require minimal supervision.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
  • Advanced Computer Skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or three years of experience in Into-plane Fuelling operations.
  • Prior Airline or Compliance experience required.
  • Demonstrates considerable experience in the field of safety, security, and training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
