Position Responsibilities: Aircrew Simulator scheduling is a challenging, dynamic process. Even after the schedule is printed and posted, numerous changes are normally required. The scheduler needs to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, in a medium -to high stress environment Developing and managing simulator schedules, that involve a quarterly, weekly, and daily schedule, that involves coordinating with flying squadrons, instructors, students, resolving scheduling conflicts, and maintaining accurate training records Daily tasks are updating schedules, communicating changes, tracking accomplishments, and reporting on scheduling effectiveness Builds various schedules to ensure full coverage of instructors, and support personnel by allocating resources to support training operations of C-17 aircraft simulators and training devices via the Training Management System (TMS) In processes, registers students, provides classified building access, and schedules students and instructors Builds a quarterly schedule, a updated weekly training schedule, to ensure full coverage of instructors, support personnel, and students Performs daily updates of scheduling data as required to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates Coordinates with eight flying squadrons scheduling offices, for students’ continuation training schedules for all assigned flying personnel. Tracks and complies student lesson completion and reports results to management

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • 3+ years ‘experience with networks and network communication protocols
  • Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, or operations management, preferably in a military or aviation training environment
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with instructors, students, and management

Nice To Haves

  • 6 + years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Aircrew scheduling experience
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with the C-17 Training Management System (TMS)
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and legacy support
  • Experience with analog, digital, and VoIP phone systems

Responsibilities
