The Training Lead is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering technical and compliance training for aerospace manufacturing personnel. This role ensures employees are trained, certified, and qualified to perform work in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The Training Lead partners closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Safety to support operational readiness, workforce development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to inspection plans and protocols.
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, tools, and quality systems
  • Microsoft Suite skills including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience delivering training or mentoring in a production environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Note: This position requires access to ITAR-controlled technical data and/or defense articles. As such, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this role.

  • Prior experience as a trainer, lead, or subject matter expert
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, learning evaluations, or continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and lead regular onboarding training sessions for new employees.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of training content across all sessions.
  • Track attendance, completion, and participation for each training session and upload files to SharePoint
  • Review training content regularly to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports summarizing training activity, outcomes, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
