Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience delivering training programs, preferably with a focus on safety topics (Level II).
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering training programs, preferably with a focus on safety topics (Level III).
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Safety at Heights, Latchways Level 2) strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering technical or safety training in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and MSA product applications.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; able to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work with end users, channel partners, and sales teams to meet training needs.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 85%) and adjusting to dynamic schedules and customer requirements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to develop and improve training content and delivery.
  • Skilled in using training tools, presentation software, and virtual platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative in scheduling and delivering training, and proactively identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver certified MSA training programs—including Confined Space, Safety at Heights, and/or Latchways Level 2—to end customers and channel partners across North America, both onsite and at MSA facilities.
  • Conduct engaging, hands-on instruction in areas such as confined space entry, working at heights, and fall protection, tailored to customer and partner needs.
  • Facilitate training at customer locations and company facilities across North America.
  • Work with sales teams, partners, and clients to schedule, confirm, and promote training sessions.
  • Ensure all training tools and equipment are functional, current, and available for high-quality instruction.
  • Collaborate on new training programs and updates, incorporating customer feedback and industry best practices.
  • Offer post-training assistance and share product updates or safety bulletins with trained personnel.
  • Align training efforts with business goals, helping drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Communicate customer feedback on product needs, recommendations for improvement, or suggestions for improved usability.
